Nine Alabama Chapter members, two Friends of the 99s, and 3 family members enjoyed a picnic at Smith Lake with good food, good company, and a beautiful lake view. It was also a great time to surprise Chapter member Kim Wilcox with a birthday celebration. One of our most senior Chapter members, Hilda Ray, joined us in remembrances of a recently deceased former Chapter member, Ruby Dickerson, and shared historic photos and a news article.
