Madison Haney is from Florence, Alabama, and a new Ninety-Nine!

She is currently a Junior at Auburn University majoring in Professional Flight Management and minoring in Leadership. She has her Private Pilot Certificate and currently working on Stage II of her Instrument Rating. She started training for her Instrument Rating in the beginning of June this summer and finished Stage I in August.

She has found that training for her Instrument Rating is far more enjoyable than training for her Private Pilot Certificate.

Auburn Aviation Program is a great program to begin or finish your flight training. At Auburn, there is aviation extracurricular activities to get involved in such as Eta Mu Sigma National Aviation Honor Society, War Eagle Flying Team, Women in Aviation War Eagle Chapter, and Striped Wings. They also have outstanding aviation classes to help students excel in their aviation careers and training such as Aviation Weather, Professional Development in Aviation, Airport Management, etc. And most importantly, Auburn Flight Instructors are there to mentor, instruct, and to help students be the best pilots that they can be.
