Every year, the Alabama Chapter of the 99s provides an aviation scholarship to a woman living in Alabama. The scholarship is to help women further their dreams of flying at any level. We would like to congratulate to Jennifer Edwards on winning the 2020 Minnie Wade Memorial Scholarship winner.

Jennifer started working as an airline ramp agent in 2015 and then was hired by SWA as part of their leadership training program. In 2020, Jennifer left SWA to begin her flight training and future career as a pilot. She earned her PPL in Oct and is working on her instrument rating.
